Vice Mayor of Shanghai Meets Board Chairman of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical. Aug.4,2009
Mr. Ai Bao Jun, Vice Mayor of Shanghai met Mr. HIDEKI ODAKA, Board Chairman of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company Inc. in Municipal VIP meeting room to discuss the PC project progress in SCIP and related issues. The vice mayor expressed the thanks to the company for decision to invest the new project in the current global economic crisis and the congratulations for the new company establishment in SCIP. Shanghai Municipality will continue to support Mitsubishi Gas Chemical in its investment and cooperation in Shanghai as it has done before. During the meeting, Mr. Odaka expressed the gratitude to the Shanghai government and SCIP for their efforts in pushing forward the project and now the preliminary work has been carried out smoothly since the investment plan was approved by its board in mid May. It is expected that the groundbreaking ceremony will be held in this early December.
