| Shanghai Chemical Industry
Park lies at the north coast of Hangzhou Bay with the
total planning area of 29.4km2. SCIP is one of the industrial
projects with the highest investment in China during the
10th Five-year Plan period. The aggregate capital investment
for the Phase 1 program i s RMB150billion. It is the first
industrial zone specialized in the development of petrochemical
and fine chemistry businesses, and also one of the four
industrial production bases in Shanghai. The industrial
output of SCIP will achieve RMB100 billion after all approved
projects have gone into operation. SCIP gains a high reputation
as the "Wing of Industrial Take-off of Shanghai".
Shanghai Chemical Industry Park is built with advanced

chemical park.It is to provide investors in the Park

BP, BASF, Bayer,Degussa,Huntsman, SUEZ, Vopak, AIR LIQUIDE

integrated and advanced world class petrochemical bases
in Asia.
Shanghai Chemical Industry Park is located in the south
of the city,on the boundary between Jinshan and Fengxian
districts.With the A4 exprssway connecting Shanghai-Nanjing
and Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway network,it is a 45-minute
drive from downtown to Site, which is 60km away.There
are subrailway lines for exclusive use in SCIP connecting
113km Pudong Railway (Fengxian-Pudong Airport-Zhangmiao).SCIP
joins Huangpu river and Changjiang River water system
through dredged inner river channel system.Apart from
the existing jetty, SCIP is only 55km from the Yang
Shan Deep Water Port still under the construction.With
only 50km from Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao
International Airport respectively, SCIP, boasting of
convenient transportation conditions by sea,by land
and by air,will provide investors in the Park with best
transportation services.
