900,000t/a ethylene plant is invested by BP, SINOPEC and SPC with the capital investment of US$2.73 billion. The percentage of shareholding by domestic and foreign is 50%:50%. The construction has started in Mar. 28 , 2002 and commercial operation starts in June, 2005.
