World-Class Green Ecological Comprehensive Innovation Base
SCIP has set up a Chemical New MaterialsInnovation Base on campus, with a planned area of 2.2 square kilometers. It covers three areas including science and technology R&D, research commercialization and science and technology services. The Base has integrated capabilities of R&D experiments, scientific research incubation, pilot manufacturing testing scaling, technology showcasing, education&training, commercial office space and recreational leisure in a bid to become a world-class green ecological innovation base.
The Base is developing three major platforms covering commercialization services, pilot manufacturing testing innovation and professional incubation services.

Commercialization Service Platform
An operation model characterized by government leadership, multi-stakeholder participation and market-oriented operation will be put in place to provide professional, open and inclusive research commercialization services.

Pilot manufacturing testing Innovation Platform
Efforts will be focused on key areas and key technologies to establish several professional and well-functioning platforms for pilot manufacturing testing and generic technologies in a bid to scale up pilot manufacturing testing capabilities and technology commercialization.

Professional Incubation Platform
We will collaborate with social capital and professional agencies to fast track the growth of entrepreneurial and innovative projects for chemical new materials.
